1996

Roger Tessa-Gambassi flies since few years and his own creations appeal to a lot of pilots. R-SKY was born this year with Major and Feeling.
The press tests the models, the brand enjoys a good welcome and success is already there.

1997

First website.
Departure from Paris to install the workshop in the south of France where the mark outsources part of production to Cavalier du Ciel.
Creation of Queen Maya and Maya

1998

RTG win the regional championship and defends the values of a climbing freestyle by becoming the pilots representative for the FFVL.
Sylvie become regional and national judge.
R-SKY creates night shows during festivals of Narbonne and Cap d'Agde with fireworks, dancers and pilots. The Tricks Night is born.

1999

Grand Sud regional title.
RTG creates Cyriuis and finalizes the Histrion for Cavaliers du Ciel.
Creation of trophies for FFVL.
R-SKY set up and awared the Prix Orange on competitions.
The Tricks Party was created for the first time on Cap d'Agde, the better pilots are at the rendezvous. Le Pottier family, Bernard, Christianne and Valérie, Eric Potard, Marc Lacuisse, Michel Durup, Nathalie Armangué came to lend their support, they'll then form the STAFF.
RTG write and realises video freestyle lessons for the first Webzine : Eolemag.

2000

The brand meets Le Bilboquet, Didier Shutz and Delphine Vilmen will successfully distribute branded products abroad.
Initial marketing of balasts on kites.
Opium release, different and awesome traction for R-SKY's product range.
Video shoot "Tricks 2000", Lewis is born and french kites do the BackSpin.
RTG and Christophe Cardon, in pair, win the Tricks Party at Fort Mahon, with Queen Maya.
First anniversary of the Tricks Party at Cap d'Agde, Narbonne and Fort Mahon.
On the request of FFVL, RTG creates a trophy for the winner's Trophy of France. He's also working on differents trophies for the Tricks Contest and the Tricks Party.

2001

New website.
2011 sees firsts prototypes of Nirvana.
Krystal release, team kite.
RTG win the France Cup.
Creation of the R-SKY team with Steff Fermé. Richard Debray joins them a few months later.
Final France championship of freestyle at Cap d'Agde, Steff Fermé win second place, Richard win all rounds of this season.
Round of Tricks Party at Cap d'Agde, facing the high wind, only one solution : Opium VTL (later, HW) of Richard Debray, that most pilots will use that day.
R-SKY introduces the Price Money on Tricks Party rounds at Fort Mahon.
Champion of Italywith Opium.
Samuel Roger and Laurent Marcy join the R-SKY team.
Vice-champion of France with Steff Fermé and 3rd with Richard Debray.

2002

R-SKY pilotes on the podium of France championship. Richard Debray win the France championship of freestyle (Tricks Party) at Dieppe. Pair Cosmic, Samuel Roger / Laurent Marcy win the first place and Joker, Roger Tessa-Gambassi / Steff Fermé is 2nd.
RTG writes articles for the magazine Cerf-Volant Passion.
Organization of the Narbonne festival, Natur-Ailes.
Champion of Italy with Opium.
Champion of Spain with Opium.
Vice-champion of France with Steff Fermé and 3rd with RTG. 8 pilots are of the 10 firsts places fly with R-SKY kites.
RTG draws models for Eolo.
Developement of the yoyo stoppers.

2003

New website.
Developement of Gliss-yoyo.
Organization of Narbonne festival, Natur'Ailes.
R-SKY creates the evenement with the Nirvana release, model that became legendary.
Richard Debray win his firsts France championship, Europe championship and become the King of Tricks by winning all season rounds of Tricks Party.
R-SKY is invited at the Wildwood festival to organize freestyle workshops for american pilots. R-SKY will go home with a few trophies by winning the precision and ballet events with Steff, Richard and Roger.
A video will show the talent of R-SKY pilots and the major flight capabilities of the Nirvana, with new tricks.
Historic moment : R-SKY, with Richard Debray, Steff Fermé and Erika Quiros, win the first three place of the Europe Cup with the Nirvana.

Aerostuff sponsors the team.

2004

R-SKY Team participates at the Kite Attitude video, made by Le Bilboquet.
The famous manufacturer of sunglasses Julbo offers sunglasses to the team pilots.
Richard Debray, champion of Europe and France.
Preparation of the Freestyle World Cup.
Champion of Italy and Spain with Opium.
The brand draws and develops its own pieces : standoffs feet, center-T, lines winders and yoyo stoppers.

2005

R-SKY evolves and changes its visual identity : new charter and new website.
Sylvie and Roger run the organization of the Freestyle Wold Cup at Cap d'Agde :18 countries, 150 participants. R-SKY team win all the titles. World champion with Richard Debray, 3rd with Steff Fermé. World Champion and vice-champion in pair with Joker and Cosmic. World champion and vice-champion in team with LSD and Sound of Tricks.
Laura is featured by Guiseppe Pagano in a beautiful video.
Champion of france with Richard Debray, 3rd with Benoit Martinet.
Junior champion of France with Valentin Martinet with an Opium.
Release of the DVD Debray Replica and special fabrication of Nirvana Debray Replica, 25 copies, sold in 1 hour.
R-SKY become the European distributor of Aerostuff.
During EuroCup at Cervia (Italy), Laura Mastromauro joins the R-SKY team.

2006

January, R-SKY team welcomes a new driver : Randy Greenway, USA. Randy will focus on the achievement of many video tutorials and a blog, became a real source for those who want to learn.
Champion of France and Europe with Richard Debray.
Vice-champion of Europe with Steff Fermé.
Champion of Italy with Nirvana.
R-SKY celebrates 10 years by creating numbered Collector series of different brand models, all are Black/white/Grey. Some collectors acquire each model.
All these models are equipped with new Icone bars, where RTG has worked on their conception and design appearance.
Team pilots still dominates Tricks Party round, in all categories.
R-SKY develops and markets a new transport bag, especially designed for pilots. 500 copies will be sold in a few months.

2007

The brand is reviving the tradition of single-line kites and markets the Bird'X, developed in 2006.
R-SKY supports the developement of Tricks Party in differents coutries.
Champion of France with Laurent Marcy and vice-champion with Samuel Roger.
Champion of Italy with Krystal.
Release of the Next, the Next Team and one of the most beautiful videos of the brand.
End of the year, Christian Derefat draws the Diablis for the brand, with whom he'll become the Belgian champion of freestyle.

2008

Product range expands with two new kites, intended to beginners and for pilots who want to learn freestyle. The Wao and the Initial.
Champion of France and Europe with Richard Debray. Vice-champion of Europe with Steff Fermé. RTG, withdrawn from competition, wins, before Laurent Marcy, the Europal Cup of Stella Plage with the prototype of the Nirvana Second Edition. Laurent Marcy wins the Tricks Contest with the Extend, freshely marketed.

2009

New era for the brand, new projects. Release of the new website. Developement of single-line kites bags.
Skyshark entrust the distribution of its products to the brand.
Release of the Nirvana Second edition, many videos will be shot.
Begininng of this year, R-SKY decides to withdraw with the competition. The team is disbanded but pilots continue their dominations with R-SKY kites by winning the Europe championship with Richard Debray. Steff Fermé becomes vice-champion of France.

2010

A year of transition and reflection on the future.
Release of the Initial Fever with the GripStopper system.
Change of workshop and city, R-SKY moves into larger premises at Béziers (34).
Release of the Toxic, a new look on freestyle flying, a modern and technical design.
Champion and vice-champion of Europe with Richard Debray and Steff Fermé.
Champion and vice-champion of France with Richard Debray and Steff Fermé.

2011

15 years ! It may be the time to remember the good and bad times, those great and beautiful victories, those defeats that we should forget to refocus on action. We wanted to list, by year, some of the highlights of our history and, of course, without forgetting the many regional titles, podiums and victories at the international Opens, podiums and victories at the Tricks Contest.
The brand is now present over 50 countries.
